Hi-ya!

Welcome! My name is, of course, Christie Lacy. Thanks so much for taking your time to stop by my little place on the web and see my photos and read what I have to say! It means so much to me!

As you've probably gathered, I am a photographer (couldn't tell by the domain name, huh?) :) I am more specifically a children's photographer. I specialize in capturing memories of your little ones for you. Why did I mention that I am a children's photographer? Well, I suppose it is really to just let you know that while I love to photograph seniors and weddings and babies, I just know that I am really good at photographing kids. I strive to get those moments and memories captured for you, to take those sweet moments and freeze them for you to remember them years from now. My focus is children, I love interacting with them, seeing their personalities come to life, talking to them, playing with them, I love it all.

Some of you might have seen the awesome photoshoot with Lola from earlier in the month. Here is her completed session in slideshow format! I can’t tell you how exciting it is for me to get to photograph in these cool locations! The staff at Sugar Babies Cupcake Boutique were phenominal; so accomodating, so generous, so uber cool! I hope I’m able to come back for many more sessions!

2nd grade - Christie Lacy - Houston kids Photography

Wow. I can’t believe this summer has come and gone. We’re back into gear with our routines,
homework and bedtimes!

Today was Darius’s first day of school. First day of 2nd grade! I can’t believe he’s already in 2nd GRADE!!!! He was so ready and so excited. He must have gotten out of bed 5 times last night to tell me one thing or another. I remember feeling the same way, well, at least through 8th grade, then I began to dread school. :)

Here’s my big guy this morning!

And yes! He even looked back for a split second to let me take a picture in front of all the big kids. *sigh* I love him. It will probably be the last time this happens :(

Just a shore time left…-Christie Lacy - Houston - Dallas Photography

Hey ya’ll I just wanted to blog one last time that I’ll be heading to Dallas next weekend for a day of mini sessions on Saturday August 30th! I’ll be in the Frisco area and will be shooting at an outdoor location.

If you or someone you know would be interested in having a mini session done, contact me ASAP to get in! The cost will be $300 and will include prints.  Can’t wait to see new faces!

Weekend plans? - Christie Lacy - Houston Photographer

If you’re out and about this Saturday, come swing by Nina Loca’s! Bring the kids or come to shop!
From 1:30 to 4:00 I’ll be offering portraits! You’ll receive an 8×10 print for $15 each with proceeds going to Noah’s Ark Animal Sanctuary. If you’re in need of some updated portraits come on by! This price is a once in a lifetime deal! Portraits will be available for pick up 2 weeks from the 23rd.
