Thank you to all of my clients for a great year! Right now, I am completely booked through the rest of the year. There are still Mini-Sessions available if you are interested in having your family's picture taken. I hope to add a few non-holiday sessions in early December. But for now, I am booked.

Welcome! My name is, of course, Christie Lacy. Thanks so much for taking your time to stop by my little place on the web and see my photos and read what I have to say! It means so much to me!

As you've probably gathered, I am a photographer (couldn't tell by the domain name, huh?) :) I am more specifically a children's photographer. I specialize in capturing memories of your little ones for you. Why did I mention that I am a children's photographer? Well, I suppose it is really to just let you know that while I love to photograph seniors and weddings and babies, I just know that I am really good at photographing kids. I strive to get those moments and memories captured for you, to take those sweet moments and freeze them for you to remember them years from now. My focus is children, I love interacting with them, seeing their personalities come to life, talking to them, playing with them, I love it all.

The O Family - Houston Children and Family Photography - Christie Lacy

I was lucky to photograph this family a few weeks ago, right before the weather started to turn. I know I say all families are excellent, but they truly are, and this one was no different! We were a bit worried that the little one wouldn’t cooperate as his nap time was right at our scheduled shoot time due to the time change. But he was excellent and we had a great time! I love that this family wanted true interaction shots. It makes me smile so much and makes my heart leap with joy! Thanks for choosing me, O family! I hope to see you again next year!!

The G Family - Houston Children and Family Photography - Christie Lacy

This family is one of the winners of the silent auction item I donated to Wee Wuns. Mom called me as soon as she knew she’d won to see if I could squeeze her in for a session this year. I’m so glad I did because look at how fantastic and fun these images are! And Last, but not least - Houston Children and Family Photography - Christie Lacy

Well, at least the last post for this evening, anyhow…

This family holds a special place in my heart. I believe this was the 4th time I’ve shot this little guy and I can’t believe it!! His momma was my oldest son’s kindergarten teacher and she is one of the most kind-hearted, patient, and (still) helpful people I know! I seem to always ask her for advice on how I should approach different things with my oldest. I’m crossing my fingers and toes that my middle one gets her next year as his kindergarten teacher :) I wouldn’t want it any other way!!

Still with me?! - Houston Children and Family Photography - Christie Lacy

I should also say that the clients whose images I’m posting here tonight took advantage of my Mini Sessions. I know there was only a few spots for these sessions and next year I plan to let you know well in advance when the sessions will be held. Mini Sessions are great for those who’ve already had a session with me and are just looking to get a more recent image for their cards.

This duo below came to me by the way of a recent client (Thank you!!!). I loved working with them. Both were very mature  and had a sense of style to them.

Thank you very much, H family, for having me capture your kids during this season! I hope you’ll see me again next year for a full session!

I suppose I should really say that these aren’t sneak peeks, not for these clients at least. Most of the images I’m posting here on the blog have already been sent to the clients to view. It’s just that right now is the busy season for most photographers I know. This is the holiday rush!

Recognize this family? Another fantastic repear client! I love all of my clients, but those that come back to me again and again, well, it’s just such a compliment to me! Mr Z is the “super kid” that is gracing the top slideshow of this blog (As well as the back of a good friend’s business card)! And here he is today, with a PIRATE HAT!!! AAAH! I love it! What creativity my clients have, right?!
