My new wall art

A few weeks ago I posted a picture of my 3 little ones. I decided right after I processed it that it would be a canvas. And that it would be BIG! You know, oftentimes we thing that an 8×10 is a large print, but I promise you that it’s not. 8×10s are perfect for wall galleries. But when you want to show something off in your home, and add both decor and sentiment, large images of your family are the way to go.

So I decided that I wanted to add a large piece in my home. This canvas is 24″ x 36″ and is spectacular. It’s the first thing people see when they come into my home. A beautiful large canvas that needs no framing, just simply hung on a spacious wall to be showcased. See the images below for more detail!

Sneak Peek: The P Family

We were afraid we might not make this session today. These fabulous afternoon thunderstorms are not so fabulous when sessions are scheduled! But this one was so nice, brought nice cool breeze and the clouds stayed overhead keeping the sun from making it miserable.

Even Baby E had a good time and stayed happy through almost all of the session. And Miss M was quite the little helper! I loved this family! Mom and dad were so excited to have these pictures taken, taking great consideration to clothing and choice of simple props (a quaint little table and chair set, dad’s childhood quilt and mom’s very own toys from her own childhood).

I love incorporating things that are yours, things of importance, into your sessions. It makes the photos seem so much more personal and gives them great meaning. B and M, I hope you cherish these photos for years to come! Thank you so much for working with my schedule and being so willing to let me take charge and do what I do! Hope you love these and I hope I get to do more sessions for you in the future!

I couldn’t help but post this one. Sometimes we just gotta cry it out :)
Thanks Baby E, for sticking it out past bedtime! :)

.:mom-made:.

I love finding fabulous things. Even more than that I love finding out when fabulous moms or women are out there in the world doing what they love and making a business out of it!

Do you know of any mom-made/woman-owned business out there? Do you have friends who are in business for themselves? Leave me a comment to their site or blog or contact info! I’d love to help spread the love and find out what all you moms are out there creating! Be it jewelry, clothing, baby items etc.           I know you’re out there!

Sneak Peek: R and R

R and R, I could use a little of that! How are all of you fairing this summer? I’m getting by, but it’s only begun! Between having all of the kids home, sessions, proofing, etc, yeah, r and r is exactly what I need!

But these little cuties were too. I adore their mom. We only met maybe a month ago, but she’s got this awesome spirit and energy about her. I could just talk to her forever. I was so excited when she called me to book a session for her kiddos. So we finally had ours this week. You’ve seen the little girl before in the Stitched with Love photoshoot, this time, her big brother came along. He’s very inquisitive and wanted to know all about me. I love it when they do that! Keeps the conversation going! Thanks Nicole for having me! Hope you enjoy your holiday!
