Capturing the essence of a family is something I always strive to do. Being an on-looker to how a family interacts and loves one another is such an awesome blessing.

Last week we set out to an awesome location. I had big ideas in my mind, but sometimes, those ideas just don’t come to life. This was one of those days. The wind was a bit blowy, the sun a bit too high (even for pushing the session to 6:30)…sometimes things just don’t work out the way you hope. So we improvised. Luckily this location had a grassy area, a swing set and ample space for the kiddos to feel comfortable and not stuffy. And even though my plans didn’t go as I thought, I am so happy to share with you the true essence of this family. Love between siblings (a rarety in this household right now!) paired with bright bold color (you know how much I love that) and add a beautiful family…well, it’s pretty much perfection. Take a peek!
