The O Family - Houston Children and Family Photography - Christie Lacy

I was lucky to photograph this family a few weeks ago, right before the weather started to turn. I know I say all families are excellent, but they truly are, and this one was no different! We were a bit worried that the little one wouldn’t cooperate as his nap time was right at our scheduled shoot time due to the time change. But he was excellent and we had a great time! I love that this family wanted true interaction shots. It makes me smile so much and makes my heart leap with joy! Thanks for choosing me, O family! I hope to see you again next year!!

The G Family - Houston Children and Family Photography - Christie Lacy

This family is one of the winners of the silent auction item I donated to Wee Wuns. Mom called me as soon as she knew she’d won to see if I could squeeze her in for a session this year. I’m so glad I did because look at how fantastic and fun these images are! This brother and sister were so much fun, total personality here and we had lots of giggles :) Thanks for having me and thanks for supporting Wee Wuns!!  Here’s your sneak peek!

And Last, but not least - Houston Children and Family Photography - Christie Lacy

Well, at least the last post for this evening, anyhow…

This family holds a special place in my heart. I believe this was the 4th time I’ve shot this little guy and I can’t believe it!! His momma was my oldest son’s kindergarten teacher and she is one of the most kind-hearted, patient, and (still) helpful people I know! I seem to always ask her for advice on how I should approach different things with my oldest. I’m crossing my fingers and toes that my middle one gets her next year as his kindergarten teacher :) I wouldn’t want it any other way!!

I suppose I should really say that these aren’t sneak peeks, not for these clients at least. Most of the images I’m posting here on the blog have already been sent to the clients to view. It’s just that right now is the busy season for most photographers I know. This is the holiday rush!

Recognize this family? Another fantastic repear client! I love all of my clients, but those that come back to me again and again, well, it’s just such a compliment to me! Mr Z is the “super kid” that is gracing the top slideshow of this blog (As well as the back of a good friend’s business card)! And here he is today, with a PIRATE HAT!!! AAAH! I love it! What creativity my clients have, right?!

Sneak Peek: the W family - Houston Children and Family Photography - Christie Lacy

This is the 2nd time I’ve seen this little guy and his momma. The first was back when he was about 3 months old, and boy has he changed! It’s amazing how fast babies grow and change that first year of life. This time, little guy (we’ll call him P) brought along his dad and grandma for a fun family shoot. It so happened that our shoot was scheduled last week when that beautiful cold front came through and they were able to wear the warm clothes!! The day was gorgeous, the location phenominal!
