their three sons - Houston Children and Family Photographer - Christie Lacy

Earlier ths week I met this gorgeous family to complete a family session. Mom had contacted me a while back and due to my schedule filling so fast, wasn’t able to get in as quickly as hoped. But I had someone reschedule a session and she was able to slip into this spot! I love how excited some parents get about me photographing and capturing their children and families. This mom was so thrilled to have me and it is truly humbling when people think so highly of my work.

But look at her work! These boys are so stinkin’ cute! I couldn’t stand it :) Big brother was so helpful and quite the little ham. Middle brother was the serious one of the group (there’s always one, isn’t there?), and baby brother, well we just don’t know about him yet. He was a peach for sure! These boys have the most gorgeous eyes and smiles! Baby brother’s cheeks make me want to squeeze them, haha! And then when mom pulled out those hats, OMGosh! I was in high heaven! Okay, enough, enough…take a peek! Thanks Stephanie and Jason! I hope to see you again!

Good friends - Houston Children and Family Photographer - Christie Lacy

Wow, as I sat here today to begin to write, I couldn’t believe that it has been so long since I met this family! I first met mom when my oldest was just 15 (or was it 18?) months old. We met through a local moms club and hit it off immediately.  The kids have always played well together. And while us moms are now in the workplace and running a photography business, we always seem to stay in touch, if only for the occasional birthday or Christmas party (I just want to say again what fabulous parties you guys throw!! Hehehe! My favorite place to be around Christmas!!). But C, I hope we do stay in touch more this year!!

Anyhow, I’ve been asking them if I could photograph them for a while now, and finally we just decided to go for it! I’ve loved watching these kiddos grow up!! Here are a few from our session!

I loved them. Each had something to add to the session, ideas, personality, flair. The perfect combination for a fantastic shoot! Their mom is a teacher at my little ones’ school and we had planned a session earlier in the summer. But as it always does, summer carries us away and things happen.

I’m so glad I was given the opportunity to see these kiddos last week! Thanks for letting me be a part of their day, Mrs T!

I’m Back! - Houston Children and Family Photographer - Christie Lacy

Whew! My friends, The Holiday Rush is upon me. I didn’t realize it until this week! It seemed I had thought that my calendar was not as full as it was! I suppose it’s a good thing, but the Holiday Rush always makes me a bit anxious!

This mom had called to do a family shoot a few months back. I’d been lucky enough to do a bridal session with her back in April in Galveston–well, somewhat a bridal :) It was really just for fun as she’s been married for a few years.

Anyway, we spent the morning at a local park and had a bunch of fun with the kiddos. They were so sweet and fun! Full of personality, which you can clearly see below! And check out the duds on little miss! She’s rockin some cute clothing! Thanks for having me, W family!!
