If you are a loyal blog follower, please let me apologize for seeming to fall off the face of the earth! These last few weeks of summer have had me running around crazy trying to be present with my kids and creating memories with them. I’ts been so nice to just go out and do fun things with them. We’ve gone to the pool nearly every other day, stopped for raspas more than a few times and had more than one lazy day. I longed for these days back in Spring. Now, though they won’t tell you, they’re ready to be back in school. Their becoming bored without a routine and reading and learning. I’m ready to begin the fall season and for cooler weather. It’s been insanely hot here. Stifling.

So school is starting, the Holidays will be here before you know it. Isn’t it amazing how fast time goes by? I swear the new year was just rung in, yet here we are 8 months in. Where have I been in it? A new goal of mine is to be in the moment. To live more significantly, to cherish the here and now. Last week, someone I follow on twitter tweeted this article out. I’ve been on a journey the last year or so. Wanting to do something more meaningful. I have a project that is in the works to capture realness: real memories, real love, real joy. I can’t wait to share it with you.
