Dinner Conversations at the Lacy House

Andre: Maybe we should get a new dog, mama.

Me: Why, Andre? What’s wrong with Macy?

Andre: She’s getting a little old.

Daddy: What about me? I’m getting old, do you want to get a new daddy?

Me: Yeah, you want a new daddy?

Andre: No! Nooooo, I want to keep Daddy.

Darius: Well, if daddy left us we would have to erase him.

Daddy: Yep, erase me from your memories.

Darius: No, erase you from the Wii.

Priceless.

Last week, I got to photograph a session for my fabulous photographer friend Gina. Gina is temporarily away in San Diego–well, it’s a long term thing, but I keep wishing she comes back here soon!! Anyhow, she asked me to pick up a session for one of her baby planners and I couldn’t be happier! Little Miss S is just 1 year old and she is the sweetest little thing! I loved her from the second I saw her sweet smile–okay, well that took a while to get out, but she eventually warmed up to me a bit
It was great meeting you Melissa! I hope to see you soon or until Gina get’s home!!

how fun!!

While gimpsing at my Google Reader (if you’re addicted to blogs, you need this thing!! It updates you on all the links you put in there so you can see the latest posts!), I came across Schmidt Studio’s latest entry about a wedding that they had photographed recently. I love shooting weddings, I love the pace, the intimacy, and best of all a rockin’ reception! Check out The First Dance from the Schmidt’s wedding! It was just too cute that I had to share!
