I promised this lovely couple a sneak peek before I head out to Costa Rica on Sunday. A few weeks ago, they invited me to celebrate and document their union together. The day was beautiful and intimate and so full of love. They are the most gracious people and I couldn’t have been happier to document their day.

I have so much to say about this couple and their love, but I’m going to save it for the wedding sneak peeks For now, here are a couple of shots from their “after” photo shoot. So in love are these two, it just shines through them!

It’s very rare that I say yes to events such as these. It’s not that I don’t love them. I really do, and infact, at one point thought that this was where I wanted to be with my photography. However, a plan was laid out and so here I am focusing on children and families.

But, I said yes to this one. When her sister-in-law mentioned it to me, I’m sure I had a look on my face that said no way. But after finding out that it was going to be a special and intimate wedding day, I quickly said yes.

I am so blessed to be included in such wonderful and memorable moments by my clients. Moments that they’ll remember forever. Moments that are meaningful. And the wedding celebration of this family is no different.

Congratulations, S family!

Yesterday, a few friends and I went down to The Strand in Galveston. Such an awesome place to
photograph. The weather was gorgeous, albeit a little windy, but we had a fantastic time finding
little treasure coves to photograph in. The old buildings have such character and the allyways are
fantastic for shooting! Karen and Ashley have both been married a few years but were looking
for some edgier and more modern bridal images.
