There really is nothing quite like true friends. The ones that lift you up when you’re feeling down, who stick around when everyone else seems to have left, and who are brutally honest with you. We love them for everything they are, for loving us no matter where we go (right or wrong). Being blessed with a few besties, myself, I couldn’t help feeling happy while photographing these lovely young ladies!
You see, for Miss L’s birthday, she begged and pleaded with her mama to figure out a way to do a photoshoot for her and her friends. Not only to commemorate her birthday, but to commemorate their friendship. These girls have known each other for years, and despite their many differences, they all have L in common. It was great to see their likeness’ and their individualities and it was amazing to see their, well, quirks. I mean, we all have them, those certain things we do only with the people that we are closest to. One minute these girls would be doing some sort of ninja mime thing, and the next they’d break out in dance/cheer routines. 13 year olds are fascinating!
