Come in and stay a while :)

Hi! I'm Christie. I'm married (Jerome) and mama to 3 beautiful kiddos (8, 6 & 3). They keep me busy, but they keep me young. I love seeing the world through their eyes, learning about things I'd forgotten about since I was their ages. I love that they find beauty in the smallest things. I love their wonderment and awe, their many moods and their desire to know everything they can.

I wasn't a photographer before my children. I didn't grow up using my father's Pentax film camera. I think I got a little camera for one of my birthdays, but probably lost it somewhere along the way. If that's a story you were expecting to hear, I'm sorry to dissappoint!

Photography was something that I grew into as my desire to freeze in time everything that these wonderful blessings embraced. From the way my middle one closes his eyes in bliss every time he eats (he has a real love for tasty foods), to capturing the boys playing in mud, and seeing baby girl's imagination come to life when she dons her princess garb. As I've seen with my now 8 year old, time passes way too swiftly. The things that they do today, will be gone tomorrow, all except for the photographs.

My goal for your session is to help you freeze your moments. Your child's stages of life, their joy, their imagination, and even the temper tantrums. So whether you want to hop out on the golf course, have a baking cookies session, or wander around in the park, let's capture your real life moments. Yes, my goal is to capture these moments so that you'll have them to remember back on. But more importantly, my goal is to capture them for your children to look back on. Do this for you, but more importantly, do it for them.

Last night I saw some of you at the Wee Wuns Fall Festival. Talk about a crazy place!! I don’t remember it being so busy last year, but this year they had a fantastic turnout!!

This was my second time donating an auction item for the festival. Last year was my first year of business and I just wasn’t really sure what I should give, what the amount should be, etc. This year I talked about it in detail with many people, my husband, my good friend Christina, previous Wee Wuns Clients (thanks Kelly P and Kristi H), and Kim P and Kassie L and a few others. And after talking with them all, I decided to go with 2 high valued items, hoping and praying that it would bring the school just a bit of extra money. But, still, even after handing in the items to Kassie, I was a bit nervous at what the items would bring in. I of course, wanted them to go as high as they could as all the proceeds benefit the Wee Wuns Program.

So last night was exciting to see my display and all of you who came by to check it out; to see all of my clients who were there being my champions, my spokes people. It was an incredible feeling seeing people in a bit of a bidding war for an opportunity to have your photos taken with me! Thanks to every one of you who bid!

I wanted to say thank you to the two winners of my auction! If you saw me there, standing behind you while you bid, you probably saw a bit of awe on my face, haha!  I’m so happy that the school will benefit from your purchase and I can’t wait to meet you and your families!

My littlest two kiddos go to Wee Wuns. This is our second year in the program and I can not say enough about it. The teachers are so warm and caring, and are such good caretakers and teachers. I’ve met so many great families and friends through the program. Because of all of this goodness I’ve found, I offer a great discount for all families and kids that go to Wee Wuns! If you’re interested in finding out more, feel free to contact me by phone or email!
