thankful – Houston Children and Family Photographer – Christie Lacy

This year, our Thanksgiving didn’t turn out like many of yours did. First, this was the first year my hubby had to work. Also, I’m sick again (this is the 2nd time in a month) with the flu. But, to quote one of my client’s card this year, it’s a state of mind. And this year, I realize exactly that as I sit in my jammies, listening to the Chipmunks sing Christmas songs, watching my kids finally able to really decorate the tree and eat my cereal for dinner.

Thank you to all of my clients and new friends I’ve made this year. Capturing moments of your family is such a gift and I am so thankful that you’ve let me be the one to do it. I hope to see you next year for many more moments!
