A little over a month ago, I was asked to photograph this fabulous family at the parents’/grandparents’ beach home in Galveston. We were scheduled to photograph on September 13, but as Mother Nature would have it, we were unable to do so due to Hurricane Ike. We had put October 4 down as a rain date, but with everything that Ike had brought, we had to move the location.
We met at Sugar Land’s Oyster Creek Park. The weather Saturday evening was fantastic! A nice cool breeze kept the mosquitos away, and except for a few ant piles, everything went extremely well! Ike stormed through the area and dropped some branches off the trees, and the dieing leaves left a beautiful fall like backdrop that was a pleasant surprise!
Thanks for having me! I hope we are able to get down to the beach in the future!
